Company brief · updated 2026-10-18
mozilla.org · software industry · We’re working to put control of the internet back in the hands of the people using it.
Today: Firefox, the web browser made by Mozilla Corporation (per mozilla.org)
Roles: Senior Strategic Account Executive, Firefox Enterprise (DACH) · Strategic Account Manager, Firefox Enterprise · Strategic Account Manager, Firefox Enterprise (DACH) · Staff Solutions Engineer · Senior Solutions Engineer (DACH), Firefox Enterprise · Staff Technical Support Manager, Enterprise · Staff Application Engineer, Salesforce
Requirements mention: Firefox Enterprise is a new team within Mozilla · building pipeline in a developing market for enterprise customers · European procurement dynamics · Native-level fluency in German · English and French · Mozilla's first dedicated B2B support operation · starting with the Firefox Enterprise launch · lead-to-cash
Inference: ten New Products postings across five sales and solutions titles, a first B2B support operation, and a Salesforce build 'starting with the Firefox Enterprise launch' suggest Mozilla is setting up enterprise sales, support and revenue operations around a Firefox Enterprise launch. The postings name DACH first, plus one French-speaking account manager.
Today: Firefox, the web browser
Roles: Senior Software Engineer, Firefox Security
Requirements mention: privilege isolation · cryptographic protocols · WebPKI · security-sensitive web APIs · strengthen Firefox's security posture · enterprise security and hardening features
Inference: the same senior role is posted in eight European locations, and three of the postings name enterprise security and hardening features. This points to ongoing work on Firefox's core security architecture, including enterprise-facing features.
Today: Firefox and Mozilla's other products and services
Roles: Senior Security Engineer - SecOps
Requirements mention: incident response · threat hunting · on-call rotation · Splunk SOAR · Tines · A 24/7 incident response capability to monitor and mitigate attacks across Mozilla's products and services
Inference: one SecOps title posted in eight locations, with on-call rotation in the requirements, suggests Mozilla is staffing the 24/7 incident response capability the postings describe.
Today: Thunderbird, made by MZLA (per mozilla.org)
Roles: Staff Product Engineer, Enterprise AI · Staff Software Engineer, Web Application Services · Senior Mobile Engineer, iOS · Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance
Requirements mention: an open-source AI client designed for organizations · is being expanded into enterprise deployments with partners and customers · self-hosted and hybrid infrastructure · extend Thunderbird beyond email · appointment calendar · merchant-of-record arrangements · expanding across desktop, mobile, paid services, and new product experiences
Inference: the postings point to paid services alongside the free client, including enterprise deployments of Thunderbolt. They do not say more than that.
Today: The Firefox add-ons ecosystem on addons.mozilla.org (AMO), including DevHub, Reviewer tools, and automated moderation systems
Roles: Senior Software Engineer, Add-Ons
Requirements mention: chaos engineering · service-level objectives · staged or progressive delivery · policy-as-code · modernize and make more resilient
Not enough in the postings to say what comes next beyond reliability and delivery work on AMO.
Today: Firefox for iOS, with contributions across mobile including Android
Roles: Senior Product Manager, Mobile · Mobile Marketing Operations Manager, Firefox
Requirements mention: App Store Connect · Google Play Console · ASO · growth experiments · activation and retention · build a fundamentally better browser experience
Not enough in the postings to say what comes next beyond activation, retention and app store growth work.

There are 98 open postings: Firefox 38, Infrastructure 23, New Products 12, Thunderbird 11, plus Finance, Marketing, Core Services, Mozilla Foundation and Mozilla.org. Many are the same role posted in several countries, and they span several Mozilla organizations, not only Mozilla Corporation. 52 were opened in the last 30 days, against 34 in the prior 30 and 16 closed.
Seniority: Of 98 open postings: 60 senior, 23 staff, 6 mid, 4 manager, 1 director, 1 junior, 3 unknown.
Skills named most: Rust, Python, Kubernetes, C++, JavaScript, CI/CD, Android, observability, SQL, incident response, Firefox, Windows
Locations: All 98 postings are marked remote. Remote (no country listed) 21, Remote US 17, Remote Canada 16, Remote Germany 12, Remote UK 5, and 4 each for Remote Sweden, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Finland and France.
If you're applying: Most postings are remote and senior, and many titles are posted in several countries, so apply to the posting for your country. If you have Firefox security, SecOps, or enterprise sales background, check that posting's hard requirements (languages, on-call, location) before applying. Browser-engine and search engineers should also look at two smaller areas: New Products' browser-engine work for programmatic interaction with web content and AI agents, and Firefox Desktop search work that integrates AI capabilities.
If you're selling or recruiting: Firefox Enterprise has 10 postings across 5 sales and solutions titles, mostly DACH plus one French-speaking account manager. Related hiring includes a first B2B support operation and a Salesforce Sales Cloud build tied to the Firefox Enterprise launch. Thunderbird is separately hiring for Thunderbolt, its enterprise AI client, and for web services. Reach out about these using the postings' own terms.
